Friendship Ministries is God’s house and because it is God’s house, everyone is welcome here. Our name exemplifies our persona. We are a friendly church with the people whom we serve at heart, a church that does not discriminate or exclude anyone from worshiping.

I believe that the large issue in communities of color is discouragement. I know that there are lots of other issues that people deal with on a daily basis. However, if we can stay encouraged, we can stand the test and make it through our storms. Storms pass over. But until the storms pass over, we need to be encouraged. I believe that God has anointed me for this task, to encourage the people of God and every time I stand behind the sacred desk, my message is a message to encourage the people of God.
We have been put down so much in our history as well as in our homes that we need to be encouraged. I believe that God has given us everything we need to be whatever we desire to be and to achieve whatever it is we want to achieve. The element missing is that we need to hear someone say that we can do it. So long we have been told what we cannot be or cannot achieve to the point where we began to believe it. So it is a challenge to the church to break these chains and fetters so that the people can be made free to be and to achieve.
Friendship’s mission is to break those chains. If I may quote the scripture, where Jesus reads, “Luke 4-18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord [Luke 4].” This text speaks the sentiment of the ministry, what we are anointed to do."

FMI will adhere to COVID-19 guidelines according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as well as state and local policies. Face covering/masks are mandatory within the sanctuary as well as the responsibility of the individual. Gloves, face shields and other personal protection equipment (PPE) are optional. Everyone must maintain at least 6 ft social distancing while on the premises. Upon entry, your temperature will be taken followed by a series of health-related screening questions. Due to social distancing requirements and capacity limitations, we will have limited available seating. Everyone is highly encouraged to get Covid 19 tested although testing is not a requirement for entry. FMI has been thoroughly sanitized and will be cleaned on a regular basis.
Thank you and let's continue in prayer for our church, community, country and world for deliverance. Many are the afflictions of the righteous but God will deliver them out of them all.
