SCOTT K. WILLIAMS, PASTOR and LADY STACY WILLIAMS

Scott Williams was born to Mildred B. & the late William T. Williams in August of 1963. The early years in Paterson, N.J., were greatly influenced by his relationship with his grandmother, Mildred Barbour. Her belief in God and the values and outlook associated with it were quickly rooted in her grandson.
In the fall of 1994, after a long absence from church life, events surrounding a serious automobile accident together with a few other trials and tribulations that he was faced with during that time, and how it all worked out in the end, left him with no doubt that it could only be God, and that it was time to re-establish his relationship with Him. So on a Sunday morning in November of 1994, he walked through the doors of Second Friendship Baptist Church in Newark, NJ, now Friendship Ministries, Inc., and he has been walking with the Lord and through those doors ever since. He officially professed church membership and salvation in November of 1995 and was baptized the following month under the leadership of his Pastor, Gerald A. Edwards.
During his tenure at Friendship Ministries, Scott has given of his time and talents in many areas of the ministry. He has been a member of the Celestial Choir, served as President of the Men’s Department, and as an assistant Sunday school teacher. He has led Bible study sessions on occasion and has helped out pretty much anywhere a helping hand has been needed. Scott joined the ministerial staff as a minister in training in 1998, and gave his initial sermon in May of 1999; became an ordained minister of the gospel in December of 2003, and in December 2004 was installed as one of two Assistant Pastors.
Scott and his wife, Stacy, are the proud parents of four children: Angela Janay, Kiana Tamar, Bishop Jeremiah, and Quentin Messiah.
Minister Williams has tried to live up to the Friendship Men’s Department theme scripture:
“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong, Do everything in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (NIV)

Lady Stacy D. Williams
Hello, and thank you for visiting Friendship Ministries, Inc. (FMI)! I am Lady Stacy, and it is my joy and honor to greet you.
At its core, FMI is a place of love and acceptance. We welcome you to join our family for a spirit-filled time of Praise and Worship every Sunday at 11:00 AM.
I am married to Pastor Scott Williams, and for the past five years, we have faithfully answered God’s call to serve this amazing church body. While my greatest title is "helpmeet" to my husband, I am devoted to standing in prayer and support as he pours his time, talents, and energy into proclaiming the Gospel and supporting the FMI community. When God called Pastor Williams, He called me to be right beside him, walking in my divine purpose He has for me.
This is more than just a place of service for me; FMI is my spiritual home. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, was baptized, and have served in numerous roles right here at FMI. I am eternally grateful to continue this spiritual journey alongside my best friend.
My heart’s desire is to do the perfect will of God. This commitment is best summed up in my favorite scripture:
Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV): “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service… And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
My prayer is that, with minimal distraction, God continues to renew my mind and allow me to be ALL He has called me to be for such a time as this.
We can’t wait to welcome you this Sunday!
Because of Christ,
Lady Stacy D. Williams
