Minister Sheila M. Jackson was born is Aiken, South Carolina and is a
resident of Newark, NJ since 1958. She is the proud mother of Charles E. Lee III and Bruce M. Lee.

 

She is the grandmother of Christopher J. Lee and mother in law of Octavia N. Lee. Sheila is a lifelong member of Friendship Ministries Inc. (formerly Second Friendship Baptist Church).

 

Through the years she has served as a Sunday school teacher, choir member, a nurse, praise team member, theatrical team member, a member of the noonday prayer group of FMI and also assists with the media ministry. Sheila has a great love for children they are her heart.

In the fall of 1999, Sheila accepted the call to the preached word ministry under the dynamic leadership of Bishop Gerald A. Edwards and on December 28, 2003 Sheila became an ordained Minister. Currently, Sheila is retired from Verizon Communications after 31 years of service and has dedicated her life to full time ministry. Previously Sheila has studied at Bloomfield College. Minister Jackson loves to sing and make people laugh but most of all she loves to encourage others. If in this life, I can do something to help someone, then my living is not in vain.
