The scripture tells us that perilous times will come.  I say perilous times are here. We see unemployment rising, people losing their homes to foreclosure, our young men killing each other on the street.

 

Internationally, there are wars and rumors of wars, terrorism and chaos.  This is what is happening in our world today.  It seems to signal that end times are approaching.

However, I believe in the power of God to turn things around.  My reference is 2nd Chronicles 7:14.  When Solomon was dedicating the temple he went through a litany of scenarios, but what he was asking God was that if the people prayed in that place, would he hear them. God answered and said that if my people which are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, seek my (God’s) face and turn from their wicked ways, then he (God) would hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.  

When the people of God begin to pray, God intervenes on their behalf.

Our land is in need of a healing.  This means our homes, families, friends and communities, they all are in need of healing.

Too long have we been operating beneath our privilege, beneath our potential allowing the enemy to pull and tug us any way it likes.   It is time for the people of God to take back what the enemy has taken away.  It’s time to go into warfare and begin to pull down the strongholds that hold his people captive.  It is time to reclaim our territory.
